Precautions for using plastic molds

(1) Before production, all parts of the mold should be checked for impurities. Dirt, paint, impurities, and dirt in the mold should be wiped and removed with cotton gauze, and the residue with strong adhesion should be cleaned with copper knives
(2) Reasonable selection of locking force should be based on the fact that no flash occurs during product molding. Excessive locking force not only increases power consumption but also accelerates the wear rate of the mold and transmission parts
(3) The sliding parts of the mold, such as guide pillars, push rods, reset rods, pull rods, etc., are lubricated twice a day in summer and only once in winter
(4) The full-time mold preservation worker should conduct a patrol inspection and observation of the molds in production during duty, and promptly handle any problems found. When the security worker takes over the shift, he/she should be on duty 5-10 minutes in advance to check the production status of the molds - especially for molds that often have secondary waste and have more prominent problems, double attention should be paid
(5) In production, if there is a power outage or shutdown due to certain reasons, and if the shutdown lasts for more than 6 hours continuously, during the rainy season in the south and the air is humid, it is necessary to spray anti rust oil on the forming surface, parting surface, and sliding surface. If the machine is shut down continuously for more than 24 hours during non rainy seasons, it is necessary to spray anti rust lubricant on the molding surface, parting surface, and sliding mating surface of the mold. The molds that need to be stored in the warehouse that are not currently in use should be thoroughly cleaned before being stored, and then sprayed with anti rust lubricant. The molds should be tightly sealed before being stored in the warehouse. Heavy objects are not allowed to be placed on the mold
(6) It is not allowed to strike any parts in the mold with a hammer to prevent striking marks or deformation
(7) The equipment is temporarily not in use, and the mold on the injection should be coated with anti rust oil. The mold should not be in a closed state with pressure for a long time between the moving and fixed molds to prevent compression deformation
